You should be able to get the TopSpin source code by contacting your sales representative. Compiling the drivers against the lustre kernel should be fairly straightforward after you attain the code, but let me know if you run into any snags. -- | David Vasil <dmvasil@ornl.gov> | Oak Ridge National Laboratory NCCS Division | High Performance Computing Systems Administrator | Bldg: 5600-A115 Phone: (865)241-5562
Hi. I''ve done my initial tests with lustre over tcp and is really impressed with the simplicity of setting up this monster using lwizard. The next step is then to try lustre with infiniband. On our cluster we have TopSpin (now Cisco) hcas and their drivers only supports a subset of the available kernel version under rhel4. Before I start banging on their door for updated drivers, will lustre work with the topspin hcas? I see on bugzilla entry 9316 from last september that there are options for voltaire and openib/Mellanox, but at that time not topspin. Any progress on that?
