Hi,
I have been interested in using lustre for some time and have tried
the public version out a bit. I am wondering if the paid version of
lustre is redesigned to have a clean patch set with user space tools.
The reason why I am asking is that I need lustre to patch into the
kernel so that I can also patch in other kernel patches of other items I
need available and currently when I install Lustre and try to patch my
other patches in there are conflicts with the items that Lustre has
added in and it is making it very hard to get the two pieces working
together. If you are wondering what it is I have to have linux-vservers
software and we are trying to get a network filesystem that is fast.
Currently I am using GFS but it is slow. I like Lustre and how fast it
is. Is it in the plans to create a patch set that will work like this?
Thanks,
Jon Scottorn
