This problem should be fixed in the 1.0.1 kernel source RPM. Please let
us know if you have additional problems.

You may wish to double-check that you configured Lustre to build against
the kernel which is booted. If not, modprobe will not find the module
because it''s in a different directory, and is not the right one for
your
kernel.
If you did build against the correct kernel, you may need to run
"depmod" before modprobe will find newly-installed modules.

It is important to use the same version of the Lustre kernel and the
Lustre sources/utilities -- please do not attempt to mix old snapshots
with new releases. The easiest way is to use the pre-compiled kernel
and utilities RPMs provided on the web site.
If you really want or need to build your own kernels, the v1.0.1 kernel
src.rpm is complete and ready to rebuild. "rpmbuild -bp" will produce
a
patched kernel source tree, in which you can make any necessary
configuration changes before building.
Hope this helps--
