A (not yet working) reproducer for this problem.

I went ahead and attached the early version of Ben''s reproducer even
though it
doesn''t yet work completely, because it is mentioned in the previous
post.  A
few tweaks should make a nice reproducer.  Let''s see if we can make a
really
small one.
