[Lustre-devel] [Bug 11649] NFS regression in v1_4_8_1?
Please don''t reply to lustre-devel. Instead, comment in Bugzilla by using the following link: https://bugzilla.lustre.org/show_bug.cgi?id=11649 None regression exists, i don`t know reason for close bug 10935, but patches for the fix this bug never merged in lustre, and as you say - none kernel patches should be changesd for 1.4.8.1. I thnink patch from bug 10935 should be tested with b1_4 and backported later in to b_release_1_4_8 with two other nfs fixes (currently under inspection) - bugs 9303 and 10786.

Instead, comment in Bugzilla by using the following link: https://bugzilla.lustre.org/show_bug.cgi?id=11649>From the looks of the discussion in bug 10935, a workaround is to disableKerberos (rpcgssd and rpcsvcgssd). If this is a viable workaround for now, then let''s get 1.4.8.1 out and then land the kernel patches with other updates as shadow recommends.
