Greetings. https://mail.clusterfs.com/pipermail/lustre-discuss/2004-March/000210.html Is this issue with running lustre client and OST on same machine still unresolved? May be there are some ways to decrease risk of failure by means of hw/sw configuration?

We have worked on occasion to reduce this problem, but have not done a lot of tests recently to see how hard it is to hit a memory inversion deadlock. Any testing in this area would be useful.
