Lustre announce - May 2005 - Lustre Training Session: June 27-28

Cluster File Systems, Inc. announces a Lustre training session to be
held in Heidelberg after the International Supercomputing
Conference on Monday June 27 and Tuesday June 28.

-Location-
CFS will provide an update within the next few days about the actual
location of the class within Heidelberg.  We do know that the session
will be held in close proximity to the Heidelberg Convention Center.

Day 1 (27 June, 05): Lustre Administration
Day 2 (28 June, 05): Lustre Support and Troubleshooting

- Cost: $1000 per day, payment is required at the time of reservation.
- Payment options: purchase orders, corporate or personal checks, or
credit card via paypal.
- Classes are limited to 20 people
- Sessions begin at 9am each day
- Lunch will be provided
- As this is a hands-on workshop, participants are required to bring a
laptop

held for two days in Seattle, WA at the SC2005 Supercomputing
Conference from Thursday, November 17 to  Friday, November 18.

location of the class within Seattle.  We do know that the session
will be held in close proximity to the Washington State Convention
Center.

Day 1: Thursday, November 17
(CFS101) Lustre Administration I
- Understanding and Configuring Lustre -
This one-day course designed for systems administrators and
integrators will bring detailed understanding necessary for deployment
of Lustre and training to perform Lustre configuration management.
The course starts with an explanation of what makes up a Lustre cluster
and what considerations come into play when planning deployment. The
remainder covers all aspects of configuration, from very simple test
clusters to very complex installations featuring failover and multiple
networks.

Day 2: Friday November 18
(CFS201) Lustre Support and Troubleshooting I
- Understanding Lustre Internals -
This one day course designed for senior systems administrators and
engineers will look at the internals of the Lustre storage architecture 
and
offer practical training in troubleshooting. The course will explain how
Lustre works, what flows over the network and in what order things are
executed.

- Cost: $1000 per day, payment is required at the time of reservation
- Payment options: purchase orders, corporate or personal checks, or
credit card via paypal.
- Payment arrangements (payment or PO) must be made in advance.
- Classes are limited to 25 people.
- Sessions will begin at 9am each day.
- Continental Breakfast will be provided at 8:30AM.
- Lunch will be provided.
