[Logcheck-devel] dhcpd: Abandoning IP address 12.34.56.78 pinged before offer
Hi logcheckers, I just realized that there is a rule matching log entries like Jul 13 16:14:03 dario dhcpd: Abandoning IP address 130.60.157.117: pinged before offer I would prefer to see such messages, because they indicate that either the machine occupying the IP number in question is misconfigured (using a static IP which is part of a dhcp pool) or that something bad happened to the dhcpd.licenses file. Both things are of interest to the administrator of the machine running dhcpd. Therefore I would like to remove the rule. Any opposition? cheers, Hp
