[Logcheck-devel] Bug#495961: logcheck-database: ignore.d.server/sympa rules for sympa not sufficient
Package: logcheck-database Version: 1.2.54 Severity: important After installing Sympa on my machine i got a lot of logcheck mails from seemingly normal sympa logmessages. Log level of sympa is set to "0" (normal) There are no regexps for the messages with the prefix task_manager It seems the ruleset was made for a different version of sympa I'm trying to create new ruleset but this will take time System Information: Debian Release: 4.0 APT prefers stable APT policy: (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.18-6-xen-amd64 Locale: LANG=de_DE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages logcheck-database depends on: ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.5.11etch2 Debian configuration management sy logcheck-database recommends no packages. -- debconf information: logcheck-database/conffile-cleanup: false

Unfortunately, the rules won't be updated until someone familiar with sympa chips in.> I'm trying to create new ruleset but this will take timeFailing that, you can just send a copy of the messages that get through, so that we can use them to update the rules. -- revision 1.17.2.7 date: 2001/05/31 21:32:44; author: branden; state: Exp; lines: +1 -1 ARRRRGH!! [Logcheck-devel] Bug#495961: logcheck-database: ignore.d.server/sympa rules for sympa not sufficient
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: RIPEMD160 The Problem has been fixed in Lenny (1.2.69). So the Bug could be closed. I temporarily created a crude ruleset to avoid most of the noise, but this was not good enough to publish it here. The Problem went away after I upgraded to lenny.
