[llvm-dev] Question about llvm-dev's moderator?
Hi, luckily it is sent in https://lists.llvm.org/pipermail/llvm-dev/2021-August/152152.html. I agree that we should raise the limitation since we could find that there is no graph or multi-parts in above links. The reason it is being held: Message body is too big: 130414 bytes with a limit of 100 KB Either the message will get posted to the list, or you will receive notification of the moderator's decision. ``` This is the first time I received this. I think the email I sent is not big . There is no pictures or anything would enlarge the size. All of the contents are texts. And my question is what is the mechanism of list moderator? What should I do? Should I cancel this email and reduce the size and send again? Since it is a reply mail, there are many contents belongs to others. I worries if it would affect others who prefer to use mail to work. You can try to cancel and reduce, but if you wait a bit I end up approving when it seems legit: I would get in touch with you if it was a very large image that you could downsample, or if you include a large zip archive or something like this, but a long thread with HTML/multi-parts answers can easily reach the limit.
