llvm dev - Mar 2021 - Help submitting first Phabricator review for LLVM

Hello, I have my first ever LLVM commit ready for review but I'm having 
trouble subscribing to the llvm-commits mailing list as described in the 
"Sign Up" section on https://www.llvm.org/docs/Phabricator.html, or at
least I think I am. I tried signing up from 
https://lists.llvm.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/llvm-commits yesterday 
but so far I haven't received a confirmation email or any messages from 
the list. Does anyone know if such a delay is expected, or if something 
has gone wrong?

I was subscribing as github.drti at gmail.com in case that makes any 
difference.

Unfortunately there is some kind of spam issue with signups for the LLVM mailing
lists and subscription have been temporarily disabled
(https://lists.llvm.org/pipermail/llvm-dev/2021-March/149027.html). I’m cc’ing
Tanya, perhaps she knows if it is possible to add people manually.

I *think* you should still be able to post a patch on Phabricator
(https://reviews.llvm.org) even if you are not subscribed to llvm-commits.

AFAIK all mailing list subscriptions are paused due to some spam incidents.

However, I don’t think you need that mailing list to ask for review, just add
reviewers from Phabricator’s interface.

Mailing-list suspension has been announced in
https://lists.llvm.org/pipermail/llvm-dev/2021-March/149027.html

The subscript-page for llvm-dev
(https://lists.llvm.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/llvm-dev) describes
how subscribe instead. Unfortunately that note is missing from
llvm-commits.
