llvm dev - Aug 2019 - Adding nops after ret

Hi,
Is is possible via clang plugin (clang configuration) to add 4 nops after
ret instruction on Intel64?

No, you'd have to modify the X86 backend itself to do that.

Out of curiosity, is there any reason we can’t just abuse LLVM’s Function
Prologue data for this?
