llvm dev - Jul 2019 - dragon egg compile problems

Hi,

I read here dragon egg supports GCC8:

I use a very old compiler gcc-4.2.1 what was actually dragon egg.

However I need gcc nested functions.

Assumed I would get dragon egg working could I have gcc nested
functions and apple blocks support?

I just failed to compile dragon egg 3.3 using gcc 8.3
