llvm dev - Mar 2008 - [LLVMdev] runtime/GC/SemiSpace/semispace.c does not build in release 2.2?

I just downloaded the source for release 2.2, and when I try to build
'make -C runtime' it fails with the following error:

A search through the mailing list shed no light on this issue.  Is
this a known problem?  If so, why is it not documented somewhere?  If
not, how did it make it into a release?

Am I missing something obvious?

Yes, this is unfortunate. Please pull from svn where the example is  
fixed.
