llvm dev - Mar 2007 - [LLVMdev] What version of GCC to build LLVM-GCC4 on Linux

I am wanting to upgrade my Fedora Core 6's GCC as it is version 4.1.1 and
that does not build LLVM-GCC4.

What version of GCC is recomended ?

Yes. But what version is recomended and tested ?

Any post 4.1.1 ?

I just today built LLVM CVS and LLVM-GCC4 SVN using GCC 4.1.1 (Gentoo 4.1.1-r3).
