OK. I'm confused. When I run uname -m on my AMD64 machine (which runs
with a 64-bit Linux kernel) is says
hendrik at april:~$ uname -m
x86_64
hendrik at april:~$
It sounds as if you are drawing a distinction I'm not. What do you call
the difference between x86_64 and AMD64?
