llvm dev - Sep 2002 - [LLVMdev] Porting to x86 Linux

So, I had to make a few changes to the llvm sources to allow compilation 
on x86 redhat 7.3 (gcc-2.96, glibc 2.2.4).  Is there any general 
interest in maintaining a port?  I will happily submit patches.

Patches are always welcome.  Especially if they don't break Solaris
support. :)

I'm sure that many people would appreciate the work you've done.

Patches would be welcome because we're moving to RedHat 7.3 on x86
ourselves, hopefully in the near future!  If we can use them, the effort
would be much appreciated.
