Linux_hpc_swstack - Jul 2008 - Kernel security fixes from 2.6.18-92.1.6.el5

Hi all,

Red Hat have recently released 2.6.18-92.1.6.el5 to fix several
locally-exploitable security issues described at:

Unfortunately, we can''t move directly to this kernel since
it''s RHEL 5
U6, which is not supported by OFED 1.2.5.5.  So I''m going to backport
the fixes to our kernel, which is based on 2.6.18_53.1.21.el5.  The
other option is to move to OFED 1.3.1, which seems a bit much for a
security fix.  However I''m posting this to the list to see if anyone
else feels differently.
