LightDM - Dec 2020 - LightDM Greeter fingerprint recognition and extra login step

Hi there,

I'm sure you guys are busier than a one legged riverdancer?? But.....I 
was just wondering whether there had been any queries about the 
seemingly unnecessary step of clicking the login button when fingerprint 
is enabled on a computer running LightDM GTK+ Greeter?

It is a very minor issue and I appreciate there is lots to do but it has 
been driving me nuts for ages and recently my mouse pad failed and it 
was like pulling teeth to login after the laptop went to sleep. I'm just 
wondering whether there is a workaround to just get it to autologin post 
fingerprint authentication without a full autologin scenario?
