Hello, looking in the lightdm log I noticed that in my old laptop the xserver needs ca 16sec to start Is it possible to start the xserver independently form lightdm in a form that lightdm get the right signal that xserver is already running? (ie setting a new systemd service) if yes ==> must the lightdm configuration be changed so that lightdm doesn't start Xserver? Thanks in advance Jose Bartolome Ubuntu 16.04 Log Extract: [+5.08s] DEBUG: Launching process 991: /usr/bin/X -core :0 -seat seat0 -auth /var/run/lightdm/root/:0 -nolisten tcp vt7 -novtswitch [+5.08s] DEBUG: DisplayServer x-0: Waiting for ready signal from X server :0 [+5.08s] DEBUG: Acquired bus name org.freedesktop.DisplayManager [+5.08s] DEBUG: Registering seat with bus path /org/freedesktop/DisplayManager/Seat0 [+21.36s] DEBUG: Got signal 10 from process 991 [+21.36s] DEBUG: DisplayServer x-0: Got signal from X server :0 [+21.36s] DEBUG: DisplayServer x-0: Connecting to XServer :0 -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
