LightDM - Mar 2016 - Unable to connect using Open Text Exceed XDMCP BroadcastQuery

I've configured LightDm to accept XDMCP requests, and if I send a Query
specifically to the machine from Exceed running on Windows 10 I can connect.

 

If however I configure Exceed to send a BroadcastQuery all I get is a
timeout.

 

In both cases I see:

 

Got [QueryType](authentication_names=[]) from 192.168.129.66:[portnumber]

SendWilling(authentication_name='' hostname=''
status='')
192.168.119.66:[portnumber]

 

but only if [QueryType] is Query do I see 

 

GotRequest(display_number= ..

 

Am I doing something wrong - or have I misconfigured a firewall rule
somewhere?

That looks correct to me.

To be clear, when you set Exceed to send BroadcastQuery LightDM reports
that it sends a Willing back to it? That suggests to me the Willing is
either being rejected by Exceed or a firewall has dropped the packet for
some reason.
