I hope this is the last step to have LightDM on XStreamOS Desktop! While running lightdm as root from the text console now works fine, when running with the specific lxdm solaris service startup script, I get these errors, and it quits: Apr 8 16:18:32 xstream lightdm[1363]: [ID 956520 auth.error] pam_unix_cred: cannot load ttyname: No such file or directory. The method under /lib/svc/method, just run this on start: nohup /usr/sbin/lightdm/dev/null 2&1;& I tried also without nohup, just exec but no luck. Lxdm did not have this problem. I bet it's because the daemon is launched while not attached at the console. Any clue? Gabriele. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
