This is the first release in the stable 1.8 series. This series will be
maintained on the lp:lightdm/1.8 branch and trunk (lp:lightdm) will now be
used for the unstable 1.9 series.
All users are encouraged to update to lightdm 1.8. It will be supported
until January 2014, the other release series will expire on:
1.2 - April 2017
1.4 - April 2014
1.6 - January 2014
