[LightDM] Possible Bug with example-gtk-gnome Greeter
Hey all, I didn't want to sign up to yet another online service, so I didn't create a launchpad account to post this possible bug (truthfully I'm not quite sure it is a bug). I'm using the latest 0.4.0 release. I changed the wallpaper for the example-gtk-gnome greeter by: cd /usr/share/lightdm/themes/example-gtk-gnome/ mv bg.jpg bg.jpg.orig ln -s /home/chris/.wallpaper.jpg As you can see I forgot to rename the symlink to "bg.jpg". When I rebooted I'm greeted with no wallpaper or any Gtk widgets of any kind. It's a black screen with the mouse pointer. Once I realized I renamed the symlink and everything was working again. I don't think the greeter should be completely blank if a wallpaper isn't found? Cheers, Chris
