Sorry for this trivial question In many howto, i saw that ip utility replace gracefully the old ifconfig command. However, i would like to know how we can manage speed and (half/full) duplex with such an utility Thanks _______________________________________________ LARTC mailing list / LARTC@mailman.ds9a.nl http://mailman.ds9a.nl/mailman/listinfo/lartc HOWTO: http://lartc.org/

It seems mii-tool is the old one, and works for some ethernet cards. ethtool is newer (and supposedly better), and works for some ethernet cards.
