LARTC - Sep 2002 - TC filter:Marking packets X IP/PORT filter

Hello,

        Is there any advantages on fwmark filtering rather than ip/port
filtering? Is load average the only advantage? If load average is low on
both cases, will fwmark reduce the RTT of the packet in  comparison with
ip/port filtering?
