LARTC - Mar 2001 - kernel 2.2.17 & ds-8.tar.gz (DSMARK)

hello all,
I am running kernel 2.2.17. I am wondering if it is possible to compile this
kernel with the dsmark add-on.

i tried to patch the kernel but it doesn''t work. Is there any way of
doing
it or must i stick to kernel 2.2.14??

Solved. Now using kernel 2.2.18 with ds-8.tar.gz. Note that it doesn''t
mean
2.2.17 is not compatible. just that i downloaded 2.2.18 instead.
