[Ironruby-core] Status of SQL Server Support for IronRuby on Rails
Hi, I would like to work with IronRuby on Rails with Active Record and DataMapper. I understand the adapter for SQL Server 2005/2008 is under preparation by the asp.net team. Can some one help me with the details of current status of the progress. -- Posted via http://www.ruby-forum.com/.

It would help you with platform changing advantage if required in future, without suffering from Database problems later on. You can host your Rails website with Apache and MySql. You can host your Rails website with Windows and MySql with Fast CGI advantage You CANNOT easily host your Rails website with Apache and SQL SERVER. Under this scenario IronRuby on Rails with MySQL is a safe and best way to go. -- Posted via http://www.ruby-forum.com/.
