I downloaded ruby, and did a "make". it worked successfully, but I''m not a "super user" so I can''t run "make install". I then downloaded instiki and tried to start it up, and got the following error message: [russella at bluto]% ../ruby-1.8.3/ruby instiki ./script/server:3:in `require'': no such file to load -- webrick (LoadError) from ./script/server:3 from instiki:6 [russella at bluto]% Any idea what I should do? Thanks, Archie -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL: http://rubyforge.org/pipermail/instiki-users/attachments/20051103/be198d04/attachment.htm
Have you tried installing from gems? It''s much easier. archier wrote:> I downloaded ruby, and did a "make". it worked successfully, but I''m not a > "super user" so I can''t run "make install". > > I then downloaded instiki and tried to start it up, and got the following > error message: > > [russella at bluto]% ../ruby-1.8.3/ruby instiki > ./script/server:3:in `require'': no such file to load -- webrick (LoadError) > from ./script/server:3 > from instiki:6 > [russella at bluto]% > > Any idea what I should do? > > Thanks, > Archie
