Morning all, I''m testing Instiki on a standalone PC, trying out some of the things that I think my users are likely to do. One of them is mistyping an Author name when posting. Is there anyway to amend the Author name, or to delete incorrect authors? Rob

If you''re really interested I can guide you through it, but it''s a bit tricky. But I have to ask - is it a big issue? Consider that author names are just a text string - there is no permission model behind, no way of verifying the author etc. It''s more of a descriptive field. What are you trying to achieve here. Cheers, Assaph

As long as we all know there is no validation on the usernames than thats ok. Is this something thats being added at any stage? Rob

Which is fine for my personal wiki environment, but I wouldn''t want something like that showing up in my professional work. For larger Wikis this would obviously be problematic..... Rob
