Instantrails users - Apr 2007 - Using com objects in rails apps on windows.

I am about the start a project which will require me to instantiate
some activex objects and reply to their events.  I was hoping to use
rails for this but I am wondering how well rails will play with
windows and COM objects.

Does anybody have any experience with using rails in a windows centric
environment?
