Instantrails users - Nov 2005 - Wiki page for Typo installation notes

I''d like to collect the information you guys are posting on getting
Typo
installed on one coherent wiki page. I created the page here (link from the
FAQ):

I just updated it with what works for me.  Note, I added a patch for rails to
work with scgi and caching better; it was also affecting themes somehow.   This
removes the need to edit routes.rb, and copy stylesheets.  To test, please start
 with a fresh install.

Please note a change I made to the wiki about installing typo; The rewrite rule
should be: RewriteRule? ^.*$ /scgi-bin/%{REQUEST_URI} [QSA,L]

For some reason using $1 left off a ''/'' and messed up the URL.
