Icecast - Sep 2019 - Question about source disconnecting due socket timeout

Hello guys,
  
 One client question us about this log info:
  
 [2019-09-17  16:00:19] DBUG source/get_next_buffer last 1568736013, 
timeout 5, now 1568736019
[2019-09-17  16:00:19] WARN source/get_next_buffer Disconnecting source due 
to socket timeout
[2019-09-17  16:00:19] INFO source/source_shutdown Source from 
179.191.89.10 at "/abcde" exiting
  
 Just to confirm, it means the source was disconnected because it didn't 
sent any data for 5 seconds, doesn't it?
  
 If the source is connected and the audio stay muted for 5 seconds does it 
will trigger timeout too?

Correct. :)

This depends on the source client and it's configuration.

The timeout is for no data, if the source client implements mute by
sending no data that would also trigger this. However mute normally
means no signal amplitude, not no signal.
