Hi all: I am working on an Icecast server that is running on windows server 2012. I edited the config file to raise the source limit from 2 to 5. I restarted the program and restarted the Icecast server. The server starts with no issue. However, the server still won't allow more than 2 sources at a time. I am specifying different mounts on each source so that doesn't appear to be the issue. Do I need to set up specific mount points in the config file to allow more than 2 sources? Thanks. Increase the number from 5 to 50 You will then be able to attach your 5. 1 source may mean more then one connection especially if you have audio and text. regards Robert On 26/02/19 10:19, Larry Turnbull wrote:> > Hi all: > > I am working on an Icecast server that is running on windows server 2012. > > I edited the config file to raise the source limit from 2 to 5. > > I restarted the program and restarted the Icecast server. > > The server starts with no issue. > > However, the server still won’t allow more than 2 sources at a time. > > I am specifying different mounts on each source so that doesn’t appear > to be the issue. > > Do I need to set up specific mount points in the config file to allow > more than 2 sources? > > Thanks. > > Larry > > > > _______________________________________________ > Icecast mailing list > Icecast at xiph.org > http://lists.xiph.org/mailman/listinfo/icecast-------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... I tried 50 and that didn’t work. I increased it to 100, still no go. I exited the program and then restarted Icecast win32 and restarted the server. It still doesn’t allow more than 2 sources. You should NEVER have <mount> sections unless your stream NEEDS to have different configuration than the other streams. In fact most servers just work fine with only setting the passwords, the hostname, and the contact information.
