Icecast - Feb 2017 - Icecast Server doesn't start even after being properly configured

Same situation with the smartphone, connection timed out.

If you are able to access Icecast using localhost, the issue is
very likely not with Icecast.
Could you share your config file please? Make sure to redact the
passwords.

Have you considered setting up a host name with no IP? I think that might be
your best solution. I just cast is finicky when it comes to direct IP address
situations.

Thats not the problem. It makes no real difference for Icecast itself.
