Icecast - Feb 2011 - Getting started with icecast and streaming audio

Hi all.

I'm new to streaming audio over the internet, and would like 
some pointers on how to setup and configure icecast and 
ices. I'm on Centos 5.5 and will be using ices-cc (mp3 
version) from Centova to send a stream to a remote server.

Any pointers for a newbie would be much appreciated.
