Icecast - Apr 2010 - RV: Info

Great, just looking to confirm that there is no "official" support
site;

Has anyone one tried using digital rapids hardware(cards appliances) to feed
live video / audio to an icecast server?

There is no web forum, however there is this mailing list as well as
#icecast on FreeNode.

Presupposing linux---
I assume these appear as v4l/v4l2 devices, in which case, yes, people
have done live AV streaming this way.  I also do live AV steaming with
icecast, though I'm using firewire devices through gstreamer.
