Yes... use the Darkice in the source... 2008/1/18, Paul Martin <pm@nowster.org.uk>:> On Fri, Jan 18, 2008 at 08:55:03AM +0200, Mesut G?LNAZ wrote: > > Hi to all. I am a newbie about icecast. Mesut G?LNAZ wrote:> Can i stream my sound card input sound? You didn't say which operating system you are using and which audio format you want to stream in. For Windows, I'd recommend the stand-alone edition of Oddcast (see www.oddsock.org). It will do Ogg Vorbis out of the box, and MP3 and AAC if you get the relevant DLLs which is a fairly trivial thing to do. If using Linux or some other *nix operating systems, Darkice (http://darkice.sourceforge.net) can do this, again in both Ogg Vorbis and MP3. Ices 2.x can also do this, in Ogg Vorbis only. Ices 0.x does MP3 but does *not* have soundcard input, so will not suit your purposes. Hope this helps, Geoff.

First double-check that your darkice and icecast config files match were relevant. 2. Is there an error in your Icecast error log? If you see no evidence of your attempt at all then this means that your connect attempt is not even reaching Icecast. Others may have other suggestions. Geoff.
