Icecast - Jan 2007 - relaying of an htpasswd-protected stream

hi!
is there a (build-in) possibility to relay a password protected stream  
without using a tool to recode the stream?

Removing password-protecting from the stream everything works fine ...  
- I also found a possibility to add protecting on the relay-server ...

but - using this way i have to use iptables to protect the master ...  
what's quite uncomfortable ... because there are also two streams our  
admins want to connect from different (changig (UMTS-Dial-Up)) IPs

just supply the <username> and <password> in the <relay>
section

any listener auth (whether it is for a source client or relay) goes 
within a <mount> section, and may have completely different 
authentication from what the master uses.
