has anyone seen this error before:
[root@machine root]# error : xmlEncodeEntitiesReentrant : input not UTF-8
unfortunately i cannot see what application is causing this error but i
suspect that it is icecast because of the XML config file and we have made
some changes recently. i have issued thess commands to try to get
something from the logs:
[root@machine root]# grep -r -i xmlEncodeEntities
/usr/share/icecast/icelog/error.log
[root@machine root]#
[root@machine root]# grep -r -i xmlEncodeEntities /var/log/
[root@machine root]#
but i get nothing back unfortunately. i have done the usual googling but
it appears that this xmlEncode error can be generated by a number of
different applications?
my scripting isn't so good so i don't know how to parse the icecast.xml
file to highlight the non UTF-8 encoded characters - has someone got any
idea as to how to do this please?
