Icecast - Dec 2005 - O.T. converting mp3's to wavs for burning

Hello,
    I've got mp3's that i converted from CD wavs using abcde to do the 
conversion. Now i need to take those mp3's and return them to either cdda or
wav for playing in players that do not support mp3. I was thinking lame 
could do this but am uncertain how to do this. My goal is to do this with a 
minimum loss of quality.
    Please respond offlist if necessary.
