Hi there, I'm using darkice and lame to encode my line-in for a radio station. We would like to offer low and high bandwidth streams, however I can't seem to use lower rates with lame, I've searched in many places but don't seem to be able to find much information. I was wondering if anyone knew which bitrates/sample rates lame supports, lame --longhelp does give some information but it didn't seem to be accurate. Thanks for any help Oliver Stirling --- >8 ---- List archives: http://www.xiph.org/archives/ icecast project homepage: http://www.icecast.org/ To unsubscribe from this list, send a message to 'icecast-request@xiph.org' containing only the word 'unsubscribe' in the body. Hi: Lame can go as low as you want. And I know Darkice supports it - I've run a 24kbps stream with darkice and LAME. What are you trying to do and how are you going about trying it?
