Hello, I am having problems compiling libshout out of the CVS. *Grabbed it ten minutes ago*. When I run ./autogen.sh, the very last line says: config.status: error: cannot find input file: src/net/Makefile.in and when I try to run a make, I get: --things that seem okay-- Making all in src make[2]: Entering directory '/root/icecast2stuff/libshout/src' makefile:213: .deps/mp3.Plo: no such file or directory makefile:214: .deps/shout.Plo: no such file or directory makefile:215: .deps/util.Plo: no such file or directory makefile:216: .deps/vorbis.Plo: no such file or directory make[2] * * * No rule to make target '.deps/vorbis.Plo' stop. --things that error out like usual-- Its late...I'm running slackware 8.1, kernel 2.4.20, and I have been known to miss posts in the archive. :( Any suggestions? -- .-- ----------------- S T A U F ----------------- --. |H T T P : / / W W W . Hi: There's been some CVS commits to libshout today, dealing with auto* stuff. I'm guessing it's a bug that's been introduced by that. Karl will know, either way, I'd expect. Given this, you should not expect the rest to work. Yep. That one was right on the nose. Sorry about that folks, I was using the simple "I'm going to the web cvs and downloading the tarball" instead of cvs -f -d :pserver:anoncvs@xiph.org:/usr/local/cvsroot login way of doing things Thanks for the fast reply. I am humbled. :) On Thu, Mar 13, 2003 at 07:11:44PM +1100, Michael Smith wrote:> On Thursday 13 March 2003 18:16, Mr. Stauf wrote: > > Hello, I am having problems compiling libshout out of the CVS. *Grabbed it > > ten minutes ago*. > > When I run ./autogen.sh, the very last line says: > > config.status: error: cannot find input file: src/net/Makefile.in > > This suggests you did something wrong when you got it from cvs, or the error > occurred earlier.
