I guess on some level it might, but using UDP for a wide audience will cause
all sorts of issues for people behind firewalls. TCP is much more friendly
to things like NAT and stateful firewalls. While it is possible to poke
holes in firewalls, and do port forwarding, it's not something you want to
do on a large scale, IMHO.
