Icecast dev - Jun 2012 - libshout-2.3.1 release with Opus support

All,

I've made a new release of libshout. Greg Maxwell contributed support
for the Opus audio codec (opus-codec.org). Tested with gstreamer and
oggfwd as source clients, and playback with Firefox Nightly and 'curl |
opusdec'. Thanks, Greg.

There are no other updates; in particular webm streaming still requires
the caller limit the send rate.

The source package is available:

Does the webm streaming need the Krad version of Icecast2 published here a few
months ago or any other version ?

Yes it does. Hopefully those patches will be in trunk once icecast 2.3.3
is released. In the meantime, you can get a branch with the webm and
opus patches from https://svn.xiph.org/icecast/branches/icecast-webm
