Hello,
I'm using Gentoo on AMD64 with ALSA and an M-Audio Envy24/ICE1712 sound
card. I would get errors about setting periods whenever I tried to run
ices on ALSA with dsnoop, so I made this patch that turned the periods
error into a warning. Everything has been working fine since then.
The patch is attached, if anyone is interested. Maybe the error can be
safely changed to a warning?
Thanks!
Adam Sacarny
