You need the CVS from xiph.org, not the one from icecast. http://www.xiph.org/cvs.html ml On Thursday 25 July 2002 01:09 pm, Blake Watters wrote:> I've done checkouts from CVS as outlined on the page. I've done checkouts from CVS as outlined on the page. Checking out module 'icecast' from cvs.icecast.org and then executing ./autogen.sh causes the icecast code to indicate "Building icecast-1.3.12..." and there is no HACKING file in sight. Is the icecast2 source on another branch? Another module? I'm having the damnedest time finding the active development branch... No need to be rude. Things like this wouldn't happen if maybe the developer section of the website hadn't pointed me in completely the wrong direction from the get-go. Perhaps you should consider limiting your misinformation before being snippy with people led astray by the site. Not everyone is aquainted with the relationship between Xiph and IceCast's development cycle and the change to this CVS server. A little note on the front page would go a long way. Otherwise I'd get used to the occasional bewildered would-be hacker passing through the list. Much Love, Blake.
