I may be being very stupid, but I can't find any documentation for the protocol that the icecast server uses - any pointers please? (I'm interested in writing a client). Thanks very much people. <p>--- >8 ---- List archives: http://www.xiph.org/archives/ icecast project homepage: http://www.icecast.org/ To unsubscribe from this list, send a message to 'icecast-dev-request@xiph.org' containing only the word 'unsubscribe' in the body. There is no formal documentation yet. Also, I recommend using libshout to write a source client. It won't help you writing a playback client though. For playback, just act like it's normal HTTP, and look at the extra headers you get returned. jack. --- >8 ---- List archives: http://www.xiph.org/archives/ icecast project homepage: http://www.icecast.org/ To unsubscribe from this list, send a message to 'icecast-dev-request@xiph.org' containing only the word 'unsubscribe' in the body.
