Someone who has been working with my new, yet to be released, icalendar library just presented me with an ical event with the following description property DESCRIPTION:posted by Joyce per Zan\nASheville\, Rayan''s Restauratn\, Biltm ore Square He expected that the library should convert this into a string with line breaks, i.e. posted by Joyce per Zan ASheville, Rayan''s Restauratn, Biltmore Square instead of: posted by Joyce per Zan\nASheville\, Biltmore Square While using \ as an escape and \n for a line break is certainly common. I can''t see anywhere in RFC2445 (or the draft RFC2445bis) which calls for this. I''m curious as to the best approach to this. -- Rick DeNatale Blog: http://talklikeaduck.denhaven2.com/ Twitter: http://twitter.com/RickDeNatale WWR: http://www.workingwithrails.com/person/9021-rick-denatale LinkedIn: http://www.linkedin.com/in/rickdenatale -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
