[Gluster-users] gluster volume heal info takes a long time
Hi guys, In our setup, `gluster volume heal XXX info` sometimes takes a very long time (6 minutes for example). We noticed this because we run oVirt, and get a message in the Events log "VDSM $hostname command GetGlusterVolumeHealInfoVDS failed: Message timeout which can be caused by communication issues". Do you know what can be the cause of the slowness in `gluster volume heal XXX info`? glusterfs-3.12.15-1.el7.x86_64 Kind regards, Sander Hoentjen

A patch to make the command work without taking locks has been merged recently to the release-7 branch (https://review.gluster.org/#/c/glusterfs/+/23883/)? and will be available in glusterfs-7.1.? Note that glusterfs-3.12 is EOL'ed.
